MDSC - 2124 24" H-D Wide-Screen Surgical Display
The 24-inch MDSC-2124 is a near-patient surgical display that uses widescreen (16:10) LCD technology featuring full High Definition resolution (1920 x 1200). Thanks to the bright, high-resolution LCD panel, surgeons performing a surgical procedure using high-definition endoscopy cameras are presented with stunning panoramic views and improved depth perception. Featuring broad input connectivity, the MDSC-2124 offers a versatile display solution for HD endoscopy cameras, room and boom cameras, ultrasound, PACS and patient information.
The MDSC-2124 offers the fastest image transmission and the highest broadcast quality imaging available today. Enhanced with Barco’s outstanding image processing algorithms, such as motion adaptive de-interlacing and noise reduction, the MDSC-2124 delivers artifact- and lag-free images at all times.

MD - 4221 42" H-D Surgical Display
In today’s equipment-packed operating theatres, surgical teams are faced with a growing need for imaging solutions that centralize all critical information on one screen and make it visible for everyone in the room. Barco’s MD-4221 display responds to this demand by providing large-screen, high-resolution flat panel technology for the surgical suite.
The MD-4221 provides nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists with smooth, artifact-free images that allow for better, more informed decisions and more efficient procedures. Typical applications include endoscopic video, radiology images, room and boom camera video, surgery information and patient records.
- Featuring an extremely fast response time, the MD-4221 reproduces moving surgery images with vivid accuracy. Moreover, the monitor automatically locks to input frequency of the connected source, making all motion very smooth and without artifacts.
- Users can easily configure their screen for Picture-in-Picture or Picture-And-Picture layouts. This allows for more dynamic presentations, while displaying more information on the same screen. Size and position of the Picture-In-Picture setup are easy to configure
- The MD-4221 display is designed and certified for use in the digital operation room. The anti-reflective protective front glass allows the monitor to be cleaned and disinfected (IPX1 compliant), while its fan-less design avoids the spread of contaminants in the OR.
- Thanks to its integrated DICOM Look-Up Table, the MD-4221 display also offers an ideal solution for PACS imaging in the OR. Installed against the wall as a large-screen digital lightbox, it can present life-size, DICOM-compliant images of the body parts that need treatment.

The HD-47 is a 47-inch High Definition flat display for use in the digital operating room. The versatile display can visualize a wide range of sources, including endoscopic video, room and boom camera video, patient and surgery information, radiology and pathology images, with ultimate detail.
Smooth, artifact-free video images
Thanks to its HD resolution (1920 x 1080) and extremely fast response time, the HD-47 reproduces moving surgery images smoothly, accurately and without artifacts.
Wide viewing angle
For optimal viewing comfort under varying light conditions, the display's ambient light sensor can be configured to switch the backlights to a lower level when the ambient light has dropped below a user-defined threshold. The wide viewing angle of 176° ensures that detailed information is visible for everyone in the surgery room.
User-definable screen layout
The HD-47 is capable of displaying two images - in any mix of data and video - next to each other or as Picture-In-Picture to provide surgery personnel with a dynamic presentation. Size and position of the Picture-In-Picture are easy to configure.
